There’s so much more to this three-day festival than grub! The 16th Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival will run from June 21 to June 23 and offers visitors the chance to try out new food and drink, as well as music, talks and even a dog show!

Head to Montpellier Gardens in Cheltenham for a culinary adventure

Once you’ve got your tickets, these are just a few of the delights you’ll be able to sample:

  • Chefs Kitchen with cooking demos
  • Lots of talks on wine and drink – with tastings
  • Lots of live music and street theatre
  • A great selection of cheese talks (who doesn’t like cheese?)
  • A huge range of artisan food and alcohol producers
  • Children’s entertainment on the Saturday and Sunday
  • The Cotswolds BBQ Championship

When you’ve had your fill

You can check out the works of sculptor Simon Probyn, who creates original works made from salvaged and new steel that’ll look great in anyone’s home or garden.

There’s also a dog show, run by the Cheltenham Animal Shelter. The charity also has a stall at the festival, where you can buy raffle tickets and dog treats, as well as let your pooch cool off and have a drink.

And back to the food!

When you’re feeling a bit peckish once more, you can watch George Egg, The Snack Hacker. George has some amazing and creative ways with humble snacks such as Pot Noodles and Fray Bentos pies, so keep an open mind and be prepared to learn a few tricks.

Giuseppe Dell’Anno, 2021 winner of The Great British Bake Off, is also on hand on Saturday to make some stunning cakes, cookies and pastries. Giuseppe lives in Cheltenham now, but he loves to bring the aromas and tastes of his native Italy to the Cotswolds.

Masterchef 2023 semi-finalist Adam Ball will be in the Chef’s Kitchen on Sunday to showcase his amazing talent for gluten-free desserts. As if that’s not enough, pastry champion Damien Wagner is also there to demonstrate why he’s one of the nation’s best with his food art creations.

The Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival is at Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL50 1UL and you can find out more about it here.
