Although I started out my working life as a sports coach in primary schools, property is very much in my blood. There are professional landlords and an architect in my close family so it’s no surprise that I made the move into property sales. I used to help my relatives renovate properties before selling them on and it’s something I’ve always loved.

I’ve been an estate agent for one year and am a sales negotiator at Elliot Oliver now after working with another agency for nine months. Elliot Oliver has a really active and lively office so I can definitely see myself having a long-term future here.

A good sales negotiator is someone who listens to both parties and comes up with solutions that work for everyone. No one ever gets the perfect deal when they’re buying and selling property so it’s a case of bringing everyone together and making sure they get the best outcome they possibly can.

If I could pick a perfect house to sell it would be former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s massive house in Formby. I’d love to have a look around there and, ideally, sell it to his former Liverpool mate Steven Gerrard. You might get the idea that I’m still a big sports fan even though I don’t coach anymore!

When I’m not working you can find me at the gym or watching my favourite TV shows. I love the US version of The Office and often wonder what sort of place Kevin would buy and how he’d decorate it (part of me dreads to think about it)! I also get out for a good walk every day as I’m very outdoorsy and you might occasionally see me socialising at The Lounge in Cheltenham.

Travel is important to me as well – my family has properties in Spain and France so we go there a lot; I try to get away a few times a year with my partner too.
